Check the hall sensor wires. Mine backfired when the wires started chaffing on the cylinder head.

2.4 and PCM

Is JR ever going to release a radio that has 2.4 and PCM? I'd like to use one radio for all my airplanes and upgrade the receivers slowly instead of buying ten 2.4 receivers at once.

Sorry for the late response.

On the Extra I used the straight header available from Aircraft International. On the BME Ultimate I had to build my own with a flange, bend and straight pipe.

Ken:

I balanced my BME Ultimate without the wings. Used a piece of twine and a bubble level. Put the CG about 1/8" behind the recommeded aft point for good 3D.

Don't remember the exact gear purchased, just bought one with the closest measurements.

In addition to the CF landing gear, I changed to a CF spinner because the aluminum one cracked. Not a big fan of CF spinners but thought I'd give it a try, this saved about 6 ounces.

Got a call from Ed at Simjet and he had me try a few things with no luck.

Double checked to make sure the glow plug and propane cut-off valve worked during the start sequence and everything...
