RE: Anyone own a Warhead

Interesting, wonder why DTX recommends the gold plug then since it's at the opposite of the spectrum. I have a pile of those silver sports on hand for my Evader I think I'll try them myself when I...

RE: Anyone own a Warhead

Yeah it's a bit rough getting it to go in that last one but it will fit... just barely. I noticed though that when the truck is in full "race mode" (all the way down) the shocks seem to bind or...

RE: Swamp kong tires

I may be wrong but you're probably going to loose some steering response with those huge tires as well, I don't know what kind of truck you have or what kind of steering servo but for tires that big...

RE: Most you have ever spent in one shot on accessories?

I got you all beat... not in $$$ but in "umph"

I sent my finace to my LHS with a list of tools to get and she ended up getting me better stuff than what I asked for... I had asked for some...

RE: How to Rebuild a Nitro Motor

First off dont let someone force you to make a thread just becuase they say so.

Second there's nothing mystical about rebuilding your engine.

You don't need any special lube just coat the...

RE: Anyone own a Warhead

Man I swear... sometimes I think I'm back on the Vault boards dealing with those uptight children.

Anyway You remove the pullstart/engine back plate and the flywheel and everything to do with...

RE: Anyone own a Warhead

A complete rebuild entails exactly what you described bascially. I'm not sure about the super tiger but I think you can usually get rebuild kits that include sleeve, piston head, conrod and piston...

RE: Anyone own a Warhead

I may be misunderstanding you but...

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the bulkheads are meant to be interchangable in respect to the front/rear and the nubs you speak of have F or R stamped...

RE: Anyone own a Warhead

I'm sure if you look around you'll find a mod for that. A couple years ago I remember seeing someone had a nitrous mod for a t-maxx I think it was. :D

RE: Anyone own a Warhead

Yeah, I like how some people have the mentality that all metal = indestructible. Somethings got to give and I'd rather it be a cheap plastic part that takes 15 minutes to replace than a whole slew of...

RE: Official Nitro Evader ST Thread v2.0

Apologies up front if this has been hashed out a million times before.

RE: RTR Does Not Mean Ready To Race

#2 I think most "pro racers" generally buy kits anyway..

A post for the sake of post count perhaps?

I think you're confusing what I call "leisure...
