RE: Tommy's DC-3 Monster Plane

The front door has the switches with charge inputs, air filling etc. on a panel behind it. Tommy made it. Re sound, the engines are now fitted with flex pipes and sound less "sharp. I am an APC-man...

RE: Hobby People Cap 10, question?

I can only recommend this Cap 10B, it is light, very well built and flies extremely well. I power mine with a 160FT, plenty for scalelike aerobatics. It's not a 3D machine, but if you really want to...

RE: Tommy's DC-3 Monster Plane

[sm=red_smile.gif]No, the fullsize aircraft is in the museum, my model is in its trailer waiting for spring weather - sorry for the confusion!
The Saitos are not that bad on fuel, the sound is...

RE: Tommy's DC-3 Monster Plane

Hi DJ,
The color scheme is the final one on the C-47 Dakotas of the Royal Norwegian Air Force. The last aircraft were withdrawn from service in the 80's (!), and mine was used for calibration work...

RE: Tommy's DC-3 Monster Plane

I have flown this Tmmy DC-3/C-47 for some years now, as mentioned in earlier threads on RCU. It has the Robart scale retracts, which are excellent. Motorwise mine has more than ample power with Saito...

RE: FeiBao making a A-10 Worthog?

Hi-
I just saw it in RCJI too, and would think maybe it is a Mibo model and not FB ... In other words a mistake in the picture text or a misprint.

RE: Global Jet Club CT114

Hi-
It will be interesting to find out the actual flight ready weight of the CT-114. I am thinking a PST J600R (6.5kg) should drive it fine.

Richard

RE: Global Jet Club CT114

Hi Jeremy,
Looks nice, tidy and quite roomy for a smallish bird. What turbine is going in yours?

RE: Global Jet Club CT114

Hi Jeremy,
Nice to see! I have ordered the same Snowbird from Global Jet Club - only with # 7 on the tail. Could you possibly post a couple of interior pix of the model?

RE: TMMY Scale Composites 35% scale Cessna

Hi-
I had the 1/5 Cessna, sold it several years ago. The quality is fine, scale looks great - but what many don't realize about "small" all-composite models is they are often heavier than a...

RE: TMMY Scale Composites 35% scale Cessna

Normally these models are custom built to order, so the buyer can decide on the final finish like any preferred colour scheme, lettering etc. This means a certain length of time should be allowed...

RE: TMMY Scale Composites 35% scale Cessna

Hi-
The C-47 in RNAF colors on Tommy's webpages is mine, and I also had his 1/5 Cessna. Both are very stable flyers, no problem. A slightly increased wingspan and washout at the wing tips compared...

RE: Jetlegend has anybody heard from them lately????

Hi-
We had an email from Yang at Jet Legend today. Apparently they have been very busy in production lately to meet an increased amount of orders, not least for their big L-39.
