All I need is about 5 min. of flight time. Could that be achieved on a 9.6 volt 700mah battery![:-] I want to hover at around 3/4 throttle though!

Couldnt I just use a great planes speed 400 with a 3:1 and an 11 inch prop?What does the Ikarus 3d power set consist of?[:-]

On a shockflyer do you absolutely need a brushless motor?I do not have much money and cant afford a brushless motor or a brushless ESC.Couldnt I just use a regular motor with a better gearbox? What...

I put a t400gd system,with a 3:1 gearbox on it with a 30 amp speed controller with an 8 cell 9.6v 700mah battery.How does that set up sound? How does this plane fly?[8D] Thanx for the input!
