No I haven't bought a CMP Samba yet but it is being offered here from a UK supplier at a cheap price as the instruction...

Hi Bob,
Using your approximate dimensions above for the tip chord, say 7.5", with 3/8" under the trailing edge you'll have about 2.9degrees of washout.

I've seen 2-3 degrees (washout) often...

FWIW, I tried a foaming/expanding polyurethane glue on a balsa/depron fus... unfortunately I didn't spread it out well enough and where it was thickest in the middle of the fus it expanded BIG time!...

What Woody said ;) The O.S. A3 - according to O.S. - is for smaller sub-.40 engines. The #8 is my preferred plug.

You should try props like 11.5x4, 12x4, 12.75x3.75... that sort of range. It's not only the prop size that'll effect your flying but the manufacturer too. There's no specific size due to too many...

Why don't you just 'glass the inside of the cowl? I doubt whether you'd even need to do the front curved part... just lay a 'cylinder' of light glass cloth on the inside and stipple...
