Save the cash! you will be light on the front with a DA50 even with three inch standoffs. buy carbon gear , light li ion batteries etc. done right this thing is light as a feather flying. Love this...

Yeah thats one thing we have at our field. BIRDS! it's at the operating county landfill. They get out of our way. I don't think you can hit one if you tried.

Ok heres a very short video of my QQ. 12 flights on it and still breaking in the engine so I'm not ready to do low stuff with it yet but it flys great. I love this plane. Flys like its on rails.

I had a scat cat quicky 500 racer with a OS .46vf rear exhast race engine on a tuned pipe. 4 lb aircraft maybe 12 pounds thrust. It was crazy. would go verticle with a few clicks of throttle.

Is it making any additional noise when its jumping around. If so it may be detonating. If not try leaning the low speed out you may be seeing it missing from being rich. they do come rich from saito....

The hobbico CS-65 servos are just relabeled hitec 605bb servos they will work fine. I use one on my rudder on my ucd 46 and it works fine. [8D]

Put the 80 on the shelf and pull out the 91 ! Then you will have a plane to learn 3D with. The 80 won't give you the get up and go you need for learning hover ETC.
