Oh also the carbon fiber rod around the motor makes a very good thing for hanging something. A way to keep it of the ground in the shop or your room!

I would go with the Slow Stick. For one it is $35 compared to the tiger moth $50 some. So you could almost get 2 SS to one TM. But a Tiger Moth makes an excellent 2nd plane. Good for perfecting...

I am getting a Nippy Black 0808 soon (2 weeks). 0808 is the size equilavent to a geared 300 performance plus some more. This should give it a little more speed.

You could just come in very slowly and catch it. I have done it with a Beaver and Tiger Moth and it doesn't hurt the airplane.

I am thinking of getting a Nippy Black 0808/98 with the recommended Jeti 18 amp brushless controller. I am just wondering if the shut off on the Jeti 18 esc will work for Li-Poly battery cells....

I finished my Great Planes Lil' Poke a couple days ago. I have had around 7 flights and my last one was wonderful. This was my first kit planes. All together it is my 4th plane. All others were GWS....

I use hot glue. I don't think some like it because it gets a little heavy. If you do don't let it get to hot.

covering

I am getting a lil poke park flyer and covering it with coverrite coverlite. This is my first covering job. Any one have good tips. Coverlite requires balsarite to be applied before covering.

I am not sure for the e-starter. But my neighbor uses a 2 cell 700 mah on a tiger moth. He gets 50 min fly times on it. This is the size i would recomend. Might want to hear other peoples opinion...
