RE: LST Engine doesnt run without glowstarter...

Mine will die when I remove the plug if it is loaded up. Once it starts I usually rev it up and down a few times until the idle stabilizes. If it is not jsut loaded up it is probably your glow plug....

RE: how often do you clean air filter?

Naw, don't oil the outer. I have never seen a recommendation to oil the outer. It is not actually the "air filter". It is called a prefilter. It is for trapping the big stuff like Jefx says.

RE: Tire and Rim Suggestions

I just got my BRT-1's and Pentos in the mail last week. They are burly, look great, preform admirably and are priced well. I could not be happier with them.

RE: FlexTek Arms, Would You Buy Them If they Were Priced At...

I would not even pay 200. That is alot of flow. If you want them for the bling then by all means. I think the RPM arms are pricesd good. I would go 80 to 100 on a set of Ti arms.

RE: Tell me why

Jefx really has nailed it. The LST is great. I read a quote on here that broke it down in 2 sentences.
The LST is a better basher then the best racer out there, and it is a better racer then the...

RE: Give me a UNBIASED LST actual owner review....!!!!

The truck is solid, fast and durable. The parts are cheap as well. The radio raises the bar for what is availaible on a RTR truck. The engine is durable once you take out the washer. IT is a bit...

RE: LST RPM Arms UPDATE!!!!

It is not "plastic". It is a high tech nylon polymer. This isn't made of stuff like out of a cracker jack box.
You realize that airplanes are moving FROM aluminum alloys to carbon fiber and such?...

RE: RTFM

Haha, That is hilarious. I did the same thing on my frist nitro. It was back in the day of the Kyosho vanning. It was a little .12 sized 2 wheel drive off road car with a burly Alu roll bar. I am...

RE: Losi Super Truck Pictures

Quote:
The main reason it's made out aluminum is to absorb shock.

Naw, I don't think so. Alu is quite stiff in comparison to steel. It is probably Alu cause of weight, rotating mass and all...

RE: lst wheelie prob

I think I am about 3 turns out on HSN and 2.5 on LSN. Truck runs strong and wheelies, at about 220 to 240 deg.

RE: Dying wheels

Not that I have had the chance to try it, but some folks have said oven cleaner work well at removing chrome.

RE: LST PICS!!!! NEW BODY AND SHOES

Excuse the rookie question but what wheels and tires are those? They look really good and fit the size of the truck well.

RE: POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AT LOSI AND HORIZON

I dunno about poor service on their part, but I sure see unreasonable demands on your part. Kind of like Losi nor Horizon will give you a new glow plug if yours burns out. I would think if your fuel...

RE: who loves the LST????

I really wish there was a way to filter out certain people that post incessant drivel. We need an ignore button next to everyones avatar.

On to the thread topic;
I really dig my LST. I have...

RE: Lst clutch Q's

Great, thanks for the info. What is the benefit of alum vs teflon? Is there more clutch maintenance running the alum shoe?

LOL, this coming from the %$@# that impersonated Losi before the LST was released and spewed BS info. True maturity, through and through.

Lst clutch Q's

What is the hot deal on the LST clutch? I busted 2 springs over the last few days. I am gonna call Losi and let them know but i really don't want to put springs that are gonna break again in there....

RE: Can't keep my LST engine temps down

I suppose you could use a pot of boiling water to dial in your emissivity setting on your gun. When you pot starts to boil, hold your gun as far away from the pan as you do from your glo plug and get...

RE: Tuning For Peak Performance

Yea, 210-230 is a good temp. On the LSN you want to pinch the fuel line near the carb. You are shooting for a gradual rise in RPM's before it drops off and tries to die in 4 or 5 seconds.
From my...

RE: LST settings [your's]
