35% Extra 260 Right side wing panel??

I know this may not be the best place to post this, but does anyone have a right side wing panel for a 35% QB Extra 260, yellow?
New ones are availible from AW, but too spendy for me to afford. ...

RE: The new BME 150LT in a 35% plane? You betcha!

I had a chance to put a gallon through the 150 the other day. The more I run it, the better it gets.

I've been flying the new 58 Extreme quite a bit too. Both engines are excellent.

Pau Fun Yak profile??

I just bought a couple of the PAU balsa profile planes. The planes were priced great at 2 for $50 shipped. The price can't be beat. Has anyone had experience with this Fun Yak?

RE: The new BME 150LT in a 35% plane? You betcha!

Not yet. At this point, I just want to get some time on the engine. Within a couple weeks, I'll put the tach to it.

RE: The new BME 150LT in a 35% plane? You betcha!

Some of the WildHare planes come with 2 wingtube locations. A nice feature to help balance the plane. Big single engines use the back position. Twins can use the front. Pretty neat, huh?

RE: The new BME 150LT in a 35% plane? You betcha!

I took the BME to the field today. The engine started right up as soon as the fuel hit the carb. It needed to be leaned a couple screwdrivers widths so it didn't stumble. I didn't optimize needle...

RE: The new BME 150LT in a 35% plane? You betcha!

Maiden might be tonight. I have the 30" Mejelik on it now. I'll keep the news posted.

RE: The new BME 150LT in a 35% plane? You betcha!

For break-in I have a 30" Mejelik. There is 5.75" of ground clearance with the plane on all 3 wheels. So, I guess it would be 4.75" with a 32" prop. Should be enough for me.

RE: The new BME 150LT in a 35% plane? You betcha!

I'm not sure of the weight of the totally bare engine. I think your estimates on the muffs and ignition are pretty close.

I do know that my RTF 35% WildHare Extra with the BME 150LT is 27...

RE: The new BME 150LT in a 35% plane? You betcha!

I will compare the BME 150LT to the DA 100 just for comparison's sake; to get a feel for the size difference for the swap.

The weight of each engine is similar. The entire setup for the BME 150...

The new BME 150LT in a 35% plane? You betcha!

I started this post on the other major RC website. I'll start it here too because it's interesting and fun. Let's have some fun!

While I won't be the first person to grossly over-power a plane,...

RE: Can I chop those stacks???

I usually cut mine about .75" past the cowl. Like they said, a hair more power. Also the shorter the down tube, the better chance it'll never crack the weld due to vibration.

RE: Extreme Flight Extra 300, 50cc, 88.5inch Wingspan, Build !!!!!!!

This is what I will use this season. At first, I will tape over one of the arming keys. If I fly many flight without loosing the key, I'll stop using the tape on one of them. The keys snap together...

RE: PAU 43% Edge 540 PICTURES

Sure is a neat set-up. I really like the Sarge scowl. I'll be looking to get one of those too.

RE: A123 batts and NO switches for my new set-up

They seem to snap tightly together; much like a Dean's Ultra plug.

A123 batts and NO switches for my new set-up

I decided to go with the A123 batteries in all of my planes. I got the DeWalt 36 volt pack for $100 off E-bay. I'll build 5 packs using wire, shrink wrap, and leads from Radical RC. They carry about...

RE: OMP Hybrid Edge 540 Build

I use a MVVS Prosport 58cc engine with a 24x8 MSC prop. It weighs less than 17 pounds. It flies like a giant foamy. It hovers 3 clicks of throttle above idle. It lands at a walking pace with a 3 mph...

Looks a bit like mine in reverse. It's best to apply monocoat over monocoat with the Windex method.

RE: why so much pitch ??

It doesn't look like any of us can help Wasp on his question. He either has a question that none of us can answer, or he has all the answers. NONE of our suggestions work for him.

Best new 3-D indoor foamy?

I've been out of the indoor (less than 6oz.) foamies for a while. Is there anything new or better than ever for 3-D planes?
