RE: Should I get the Mamba Monster 2200 Kv or 2650 Kv motor?

Definitely not excessive on 4s. It's what Ryan Maifield used at the JConcepts Clash about a month ago...beat his best nitro lap by a full second. :) The 2650 IMO is too much...at least for the local...

RE: Should I get the Mamba Monster 2200 Kv or 2650 Kv motor?

It has enough torque but people would gear it too aggressively and melt it down. ;) Our CM36 1/10th motors have enough torque to get one up to speed in a hurry as well, but the motor will overheat...

RE: Speed controler question

Alan...plug in the battery in such a way that the ESC does not arm. Use a stick or screwdriver to turn the prop/motor. If the brake is on you'll usually hear a singing sound...much like a digital...

Because we read the forums, and if we find out that you lied you're blacklisted...meaning you'll pay for EVERYTHING you send in from then on. Better to be honest. ;)

RE: Quark ProCar 33a esc

All that does is increase the timing and throttle response...the car will be faster and have more punch (if the batteries you're using can supply the current needed).

RE: Quark ProCar 33a esc

You'll be fine running 8 cells on NiMH normal.

RE: MAMBA Brushless Motor Thread!

Yes, battery too. You want both motors to see the same voltage so the rpms will be approximately the same.

RE: E-Flite Park 480 - a curiosity?

Totally normal...the ESC is still holding a charge when you unplug the battery pack. It takes approximately a half hour for the motor to begin turning freely again.

RE: mamba waterproof?

The ESC IS waterproofed...you just can't see the silicone conformal coating we spray them with. :)

RE: Mamba USB Question

Just unplug the ESC, and unplug the link. I've done it this way for "man I don't wanna know how many times" and it works fine. If it does something goofy, you know who to contact. ;)

RE: Mamba help

Increase the endpoints on the throttle and brake to 125%, and make sure your slider (either "A" or "B" near the trigger/wheel) is also out to 125%. Throttle should be in normal. You should be good to...
