This exact issue happened to me right before winter hit. Started tearing the rear diff apart, and found a pinion bearing blew up. Thankfully it didn't wreck anything else! I'd pull that diff housing...

Yeah, tried that once with my Micro RS4s, she was like "Ooh, fun!" for about a day. Oh well. I've let her drive my truck, and she has fun, but it's short-lived. Wuteva, more fun for me :cool:

Dang! Maybe I just got lucky. I didn't break anything on mine or have any screws backing out, but maybe the electric version didn't have enough vibration to cause such problems.

If you want a car, I'd go for Associated, HPI or Losi. All have plenty of support. If a truck is what you want, I'd stick with those vendors also. Traxxas, meh. They always seem to break down easily...

Gotcha. I will say, the stock rubber on my truck is still very useable, even after having driven it on pavement as much as I have, but the traction SUCKS. I can't keep it under control anywhere...
