first try the new batteries and possibly rebind it. Also if you are running 3s lipo you might have damaged the esc as the car doesn't seem to handle that battery strength well

I had a similar issue that seemed to be corrected...

I had a similar issue that seemed to be corrected with better batteries in the transmitter. I could even get the car to run a second time before I replaced the batteries.

Honestly I did not notice that with mine, I would try what the above poster said as it doesn't seem like a bad idea in general. The servo has been rated as slightly weak in general and suggestions...

I'm using the 2s lipo for the e-revo vxl and the primal charger. Both work great but I did strip the hell out of my spur gear and had to replace it with a steel one
