It wasn't actually a choice. Arrma apparently sets it for 3.2 volts on the LVC from the factory. The settings for the ESC are 3.2 volts or LVC turned off.
I probably won't get to run the truck again...

I looked at the PDF file and that's the ESC mine used. I say used because I have now sold my Rustler. Mine was a VXL model though and that's the right ESC you are talking about.

I bought both 2s batteries from the supervisor at work for $70 total and he included a pack of plug adapters with it. I just need to get a good lipo charger and hopefully an 11.1 battery...
