I appreciate the reply. Im fine with nicd battery. just wanted to see if it was ok to go up in mah with no gear or motor damage. Thanks,

I have a couple old 7.2 1500mah batteries and one still worked after charging. It worked for about 3 minutes but was good enough for testing. It stripped the gearbox but I have put in new gears...
