Installed the Traxxas steel cv driveshafts (5451r) Problems with steering

As stated, I installed the Traxxas steel cv axles, 5451R on my brushless EMaxx and now it won't steer as tight as it did with the plastic axles.
I called Traxxas and all they said was to back out...

Just bought some Associated 1/8 Monster GT MGT 4.6 SE tires and rims from Dollar Hobbyz on Ebay for my brushless E-Maxx and two of the rims are trashed with dried tire glue.

Drive shafts for ECX Circuit

I have an ECX 2wd Circuit that I keep blowing drive shafts. (ECX232000)
I just use this truck for bashing around our long dirt/gravel driveway.
I only use 2s lipo's in it with a Castle Sidewinder...

I just bought and installed a Hobbywing quicrun...

I just bought and installed a Hobbywing quicrun 16bl30 along with a 4300kv motor and changed out the receiver to an Axial radio and bigger tires/rims.
The little truck is fun now and hauls...

I was wrong, it has a 6,800kv motor from Fuze. I don't know the make of the esc either. I'm posting a few pictures of it.
The truck runs out pretty good on my gravel driveway, doesn't seem crazy...

Brushless ESC?

I just burned up my Reedy brushless esc and was wondering if I can use a esc that is bigger, made for a 1/10 buggy or should I stick with a 1/18 brushless esc?

It had the steel spur and steel pinion gears in it, went through 2 14t pinions and 1 aluminum pinion before I put the plastic spur back in. Now it's not chewing pinions anymore.
