The spark plug threads in this are bigger than turbo plugs. I'm not sure of exact size. I had it completely tore apart and it all seems to be the same as nitro with a different in her head button....

I was able to move the hub carrier about 1mm closer and that helped but reduced the maximum steering capabilities. I might take the dremel and grind a little of the hub out so I can get the ball head...

It will shorten the life but traxxas has a lot of oil in it. I also run it as rich as possible. 20% is your safest bet.
