Yup, it is a 2 speed transmission! The stock motor 370 motor in the 2 speed was pretty weak by comparison. I'll get some more footage in the next few days.

That's probably one of the better ways to do that. I took a dremel to the pinion input shafts, and made flat spots for the set screws. I still had to use thread lock to keep them in though.

Mine don't slip at the bevel gear, but the drive shafts either spun or straight up broke. I have ordered some metal replacements with grub screws. They should be here this weekend.
