Have you considered epoxying in all thread rods into the wings and then using wing nuts inside the fuselage? That is what the guy did in the video I posted earlier. He just did one in each wing then...

Yes yellow is very hard to get to cover. I'be painted a lot of parts for equipment in John Deere yellow. Same story... But test white paint or primer would have been the ticket. Looks fine for now.
