However, Saving 150g about 40cm behind the CG is not really something that will matter to the mephisto. Not sure it's worth the risk...It's a saving of about 200g...

How much do you need to space? Up to 6mm shouldn't be a problem. It's easy to 3d print ones or cut from plywood.

Thanks! J10 is more of a toy compare to the mephisto. It's easier to do 3d stuff with the j10 because of the thrust to weight ratio. Mephisto is stable, has an amazing envelope.

If you have a 300-320 engine, don't open full throttle in level flight. The airframe isn't meant for those kind of speeds. It's a 3D airplane.. not a racer :)
