Will the hpi savage xl octane twin vertical plates work for the savage x 4.6 to xl conversion or do I need to find the regular xl 5.9 tvp??

A little history on the RC bought it almost 3 years ago bent a dog bone and never fixed it and that's how its been ever since got maybe 8 runs on the engine and I made sure to put some after run oil...
