The OS 1.20 is cowled in completely with the exhaust pipe exiting the bottom rear of the cowl on the TF P-40 I am flying.

I would think with proper planning any reasonable engine and muffler...

Of the 4 planes pictured the P-40 is the only one I acquired in a finished condition. The other three I built from kits.
They all weigh in the 11 to 13 lb range. They all land quite fine as long as...

Looks good!

Now have fun flying it.

By the way, I noticed on the one I am flying that the ailerons are pretty darn fast.

Don't let it surprise you in that respect.

I don't know what to tell ya low@slow,

I'm flying that P-40(12 lbs) and my TF 190D9(12 lbs) and the TF F4U(11.5 lbs) off a 300' x 22' asphalt runway.

At the second half of this clip you will see a 12 lb Top Flite P-40 and notice it flies just fine.
