rolland used the swift knuckles i believe, read the post again theres a link in there to them. the bearings, im pretty sure, are 8x16x5mm in the hubs. yep thats 8mm stub shafts! just drill some tmaxx...

u should be able to get some tmaxx 14mm hexes on the swift shafts, or at least drill the hexes to fit.

have u tried 1/8 buggy wheels on the atx? u will need some 14-17mm adapters if u dont already have them, those 1/8 buggy wheels work really well, and would look good on the atx too - not that the...

u might want to soften the suspension a bit, or just take some option springs with u. those tyres dont absorb anything! they made mine way too twichy til i changed the springs and shock fluid.

good stuff azzman, any chance of some pics once they are mounted with rubber etc? ive been considering trying that range of wheels but was unsure how much offset they had.

bummer - maybe 17mm wouldnt have been such a bad idea?

mind you... if u ran low profile tyres u may get away with some other, plain old 14mm wheels with just slighty more offset than standard....

the shift point is adjusted by a grub screw that u get too thru the hole in the smaller of the 2 spur gears. tightening it moves the shift point to higher revs, and vice versa. back it out a bit at a...

what u need, DrH, is a load of photos of Cen trucks/Cars/Buggies covered with your stickers - they will be ideal for your website yknow... get that secretary busy and knock them stickers out at $2.50...

some kind of brace would be ideal especially for the majority of people who have the stock funfactor chassis - trouble is that the magnum has an extended chassis, still dont know by how much, Cen are...

Just a thought DrH - could you machine a simple indexing jig that u could clamp down on the bed and have the hexes bolted down thru the hole like u mentioned?

I was picturing a rectangular piece...

this is the one thing that pretty much everyone with a cen will want. i hope the machining costs work out to be viable... wish we had found u a long time ago DrH... these bloody shafts...

some low profile tyres should help the shaft situation tho - ive got some komodo whatsernames, them low profile jobbies, on the way. i will post picks to compare to my brick pins when the komodos...

re the 14-17mm adapter - the Imex Romulin wheels for the Tmaxx have the right offset to work on the cen mt (0.25" offset). the wheels have a 17mm hex in them and so require an adapter piece to work...
