It depends on what your ESC's and motors are rated at.

If they are BOTH rated at 16 volts then it will fly with 4 cells and not burn out.
If one or the other is rated at less than 16 volts...

What size dowels? I used 1/4" at first, but a couple of hard bounces will break them.
Then I went to 3/8th" and they were a little heavy for my 450's

I don't think that I made myself clear on this issue.

If I start the heli and just hold it down, it seems to be neutral. (No noticable left or right movement)


If I move the rudder...

The servo is centered as far as I can tell, and the gain is set to 100.

I have NEVER flown a Heli before.
