RE: Extreme Flight 88

I really like the Kavan tires as well, but discovered the strength limits on the plastic hubs while practicing a cross-wind side slip touch down on the upwind (left) wheel. The touch down happened...

RE: Extreme Flight 88

I had four more successful flights on my new DL-55 powered EF Yak yesterday. That Vess 23A has to be spinning around 8K in level flight WOT [X(](in short bursts of course) It wasn't that loud with...

RE: Extreme Flight 88

I don't have much time on the DL yet, but my initial impression is very good! The Brillelli is a good engine, but more sensitive to carb adjustments. slight needle adjustments had noticable effects...

RE: Extreme Flight 88

I just recently switched from a Brillelli 60 to a DL-55 and lost 7oz in the process for an AUW of 18lbs 3oz. I didn't measure the CG before the first flight knowing that my pitch trim would probably...

RE: DL-50 engine

I fired up my new DL-55 on Friday! The carb primed quickly an the engine started on the 3rd flip after opening the choke! Before installing it on my 88" EF Yak I soldered a 1/2" length of 1/8th"...

RE: DL-50 engine

I'm in the process of swapping my Brillelli 60 for a new DL-55 from TBM in my EF Yak. With the Brillelli, ES Composites pipe, alluminum header and two 2600Mah Li-Ions, AUW is 18lbs 8oz. The DL is 7oz...

RE: Extreme Flight 88

Mark Brill still operateshttp://www.brillellicustoms.com. I could have mailed the engine to Mark, but if the ignition module is faulty, I would have to send it to Roy Sholl anyway. I really like the...

RE: Extreme Flight 88

Great Flying Dave! I haven't been on the thread in a while, so I thought I'd chime in with an update. I love flying this plane! Even though it weighs #18 1/2 it still does every 3-D maneuver well. At...

RE: Extreme Flight 88

Hey xtraflyr, I have been using the ES 55G CF pipe on my 366GT Brillelli. Great quiet power and mid-range & weighs less than 1/2 (122g) of the MTWRE2. The ES50G weighs...

RE: Extreme Flight 88" Yak - Build and Fly
