RE: Scat Cats !!

Oh I guess I should have been more specific. The Scat Cat is an excellent speed sport plane, for regular sport flying I tend to like pattern style planes. I have an excelleron 50 with an OS 55AX...

RE: New USRA Warbird class

RE: Scat Cats !!

Really, I find performing aerobatic maneuvers much easier with a scat cat than with my viper. It seems like the viper was always trying to fall out of anything I tried, that being said I do think...

RE: House of Balsa P-51D .19-.21 model

I had one a long time ago, it flies pretty well but is extremely maneuverable/touchy because of its size. Its a handful for sure, just depends on your skill level. I personally found it pretty...

RE: Scat Cats !!

Sweet, they make so much better sport fliers than the new q500's.

RE: The New KMP Signature Series Warbirds

RE: The New KMP Signature Series Warbirds

You can do one hell of a lot of improvement for very little cost increase by doing an accurate paint scheme, that is colors and patterns. It goes a long way to making a model look right, it seems...

RE: The New KMP Signature Series Warbirds

I think you are probably on the right track here. The way the model flies and how well its put together are probably better areas to focus on for constructive criticism. People can decide for...

RE: The New KMP Signature Series Warbirds

I agree with what you are saying to a certain degree. I do think there is a place for hobbyists to share negative as well as positive feedback about particular products. If a product is a real...

RE: Scat cat or modern q500 wing

My idea for a 1930's inspired racer, I just need to get a scroll saw and some time. I'm basically taking all the dimensions off of the basic q500 setup, but with an inverted engine a skinnier and...

Scat cat or modern q500 wing

I stumbled on this guy while surfing the internet and its really got me motivated for my project again. Its basically a scat cat that has been cowled up and has a bit of a funky tail. My idea will...

RE: Wonder Speed Record?

Unless you go old school, I haven't had any more fun in RC than when I was sport flying my sonic 500 wannabe scat cat. My problem is they seemed to have short lifespans.

RE: 26cc ESM WARBIRDS READY TO SHIP!!!

Oh, probably 50' or so, I recently moved to Utah though and haven't yet flown there yet. I might be in the same boat as you now.

RE: 26cc ESM WARBIRDS READY TO SHIP!!!

I guess I should specify, they should work great for 70" WS fiberglass warbirds with a radial front end. In that type of setup you need the extra weight of a gasser anyways so no big deal. If I...
