Good luck trying to find one I also had a P38.VQ warbirds in Texas was the importer.but they no longer keep them in stock. I never got a reason why,probably slow sales.

Kram, I Have not experienced an engine out but with these big rudders, as you experienced, it's survivable. I'm running OS 91 4strokes.

Based on my experience with the VQ and what I've read about both, the VQ is the best. At least everything but the flaps is better.I put a seperate servo on each flap and it works great.

I think that the 91 4strokes should be fine. I used the same engines on a KMP B25 weighing about 19 lbs. I'm not sure of the weight of my p61 since I've just started assembly. I'm using the Spring...

Has anyone mounted thier engine sideways like it's shown in the plan? I have mounted one that way but I'm concered about cooling.

That is what I was talking about. I was thinking about using a seperate servo on each flap but I may go with it like you did. I also had a VQ P38. She was a sweet flyer but did not...

To anyone that has built this model How did you deal with the slop in the flaps? I just started assembly of a model that I got about a year ago. When I turn the wing over the weight of the flap alone...
