Thanks for the info. I've got the spruce or carbon fiber spars on the list of upgrades. I thought about trying to make some kind of cowling for the tuned pipe, but I think I'm going with the KISS...

Yesterday was definitely not a flying day. I kept watching the trees blowing. 10-15mph steady with 25mph gusts are just not my idea of a good time. Especially considering today was nearly perfect....
