First you need to pull the module on the Hitec Tx and double check that you have a Hitec Tx crystal in the side and that it is indeed channel 63.

I have safety checked quite a number of used Txs...

For the Hitec Tx there is only one 70 crystal and it has to be Hitec 70 tx

Now for either make of Rx there are two types single...

Futaba and Hitec crystals are not interchangeable.

To do what you want you need to acquire a Hitec crystal for the same freq that your new trainer is on.
