Early versions of the Max-H 40 had a single ball race at the rear of the crank so they should be treated as a bushed engine (castor!). The later H 40's which were only for sport RC flying were twin...

The Max-H 40's (and there were quite a few versions) were a very good ringed engine and deserve to be run in properly. Which means take your time, run it very rich (4 stroking) and use at least 20%...
