For my cars and trucks I use a pump made for changing the lower unit oil in marine outboards it fits almost any bottle or can.
You can get it for $7 bucks at wally world.

Yes take out your batteries then open the rx on your car it should have a small hinge on one side
you can barley see, and a slot on the other, look at the solder side of the board if any green...

Try taking your rx out of it's case and examine the board with a mag glass for small
corrosion around any of the solder joints then spray it with clear paint.
I just fixed my son's the other day...

My cord broke, when I took it apart the spring had disconnected itself requiring the spring to be rewound. HA!
Does anyone have a trick for doing this?

Just a note , a trick I learn from a mag was to soak parts in anti freeze in an old crock pot for about 12 16 hours but as I learned it will get real hot! the anti freeze wont allow the crock to shut...

Did all of the above too, had air in the line too, a real hair puller! and I've been doing this 30
years.
Try making sure you dont flood it...
