I agree. The pre-production ones had 2.4 gig tx/rx as seen in the video from the toy fair. Guess they had to keep costs down. :eek:

I had some reverse too but not full reverse. The light on the ESC should be solid green when full reverse is active. Try turning on the TX and push the orange Grip A button to 125%.

Well, I figured out that setting the Grip A trim to 125% brake allowed for full reverse and I could reset the ESC.

Did you find a solution? I just put my DX3.0 radio in my otherwise stock Slash and I have the same problem.

Try adding a front preload spacer or 2. My son and I both have Slashs and his was nose diving over jumps that mine would jump nose up. I had spacers and he didn't. Once he added them his jumped...

I put an OS A5 in (that is what I usually use) and I PTEX sealed the exhaust flanges since the gaskets were not in great shape. I'll post my results once I run it.

I checked brakes and drivetrain and all is good. Plus it has a brand new clutch bell, bearings and shoes.

Can a front bearing be sealed or does it need to be relaced? As stated, I PTEX sealed...

What battery are you using? From your post I'll bet it's the battery that is your problem.

That being said, I have used both Mamba and Sidewinder - both put out great power.

I just built my first bike which is a Kyosho H.O.R. 1/8 scale. It's a good quality kit and it was only $80 (plus elecronics). I built it but haven't run it yet.

I had the same issue with my SW 5700 using a Venom 3000 battery. Then I got a 4200 Intellect high discharge battery and now it runs awesome.

It a vintage RS4 Super Sprint. I don't know much about the car since I bought from a guy for $100 mostly for the Novak brushless system that was in it.
