The airframe is very slick on a Q40 , completely different than a quickie.

the wing is only 400" of area so less lift created in the turns

I believe that engine was designed to spin a MUCH smaller prop at high RPM .
Is this the engine??

Scott, you know where i stand on the subject. This is a sister event to 422 as 424 compares to 428. I have flown several of these with TT40's. I had a Proud Bird, and AJ and a stinger. All of them...

I have 80+ flights on my Stinger and have been primarily using a APC 9X6 sport prop to keeping it in-line with the 424 rules. It accelerates well, has more speed than a Q500, Looks cool...

All Ican say is WOW, what a great race venue !!! The Bloomington guys did a wonderful job in preperation of the field. This was a grass field that was mowed down and rolled like a golf course!...
