In my experience the best and strongest material to use is either aluminum or styrene tubing stuffed with wooden dowels. You will have to drill pilot holes...which will take a bit of patience. Then...

They are Astro Flight 25 Marine motors...water cooling made from aluminum tubing, and reversed the wiring to make them counter rotating. I am out of town, and I don't have access to the specs of the...

I have seen some with or without, but to answer your question more specifically. No...they do not have a windshield, but the fullsize Donzi's do in most cases have a faux ( fake ) one painted on
