Mike at RC Nuts Hobbies (in New Jersey) is a great guy to deal with...always quick to return phone calls and he keeps a pretty good supply of parts in stock.

RE: Brake covers

Hellya...

That looks great...is there any problem with clearance for the wheels, suspension, etc?

Also, what pipe is that on MT? I'm running a Samba on my MB, but the header flange and pipe...

RE: Buying FG MT?

Mike at RCNutsHobbies is a great guy and he won't charge you an "arm and a leg". However, FG products aren't cheap, so it'll still set you back at least a "hand and a foot"!

RE: Chrome Plating Samba?

I'll try to post some pictures later, but I took my Samba to AirBorn Coatings and had it HPC coated. HPC stands for High Performance Ceramic coating. This stuff helps dissipate heat and is supposed...

RE: The Madness Continues. I'm starting the Mega Maxx! (update 5-21-05)

Dr. Honda,

Being the handy fellow that you are...I'll bet that you could find a way to adapt a hydraulic brake set-up to your Mega Maxx. There are a number of different manufacturers that make...

RE: Very Distressed!!!!!!

reminds me of a quote I once heard...."a man who takes ill-advantage of the ineptitude of others shows the true depth of his own integrity".

RE: MT body for an MB body

NoMoa...

I would make that trade every day of the week and twice on Sundays! I really like the look of the MT, but isn't anywhere near as durable as the MB. I believe that the lexan on the MT is...

RE: what song do you guys wanna hear?

My vote would be "Malted Vomit" by Guttermouth...its one of the tunes from the Crusty Demons of Dirt videos (extreme MX action).

RE: Aluminum roll cage for FGs

Hellya...

That cage looks great! Here are few pics of the one that I built for my MB (though I think yours looks a little nicer). I've been thinking about polishing mine but I've too lazy...

RE: dimension of MT tires

Not only that, but the MB body shell is considerably thicker than the MT (2mm vs. 1.5mm, I think). There have been several threads hear that talk about how easily the truck bodies rip/tear/fall...

Sounds great...I always look forward to the Street Rod Nats coming to town. I took my '65 Shelby Cobra and cruised down Meridian last year. However, I think the biggest fun of the weekend is getting...
