RE: .28 in a funfactor? oh dear....

Most big blocks use a tapered crank (SG) and you will need a new flywheel.
The stock CEN bells will work on the big block but will wear out faster, especially if you use the ones with aluminum...

RE: .28 in a funfactor? oh dear....

This thread will never go away.

I'd say pinch it or pull out the head shims to help regain compression.
If you need to replace it I would recomend the STS .28 it is allot cheaper (70.00uk on...

RE: .28 in a funfactor? oh dear....

It really isn't the rain that is the problem it is the 35-38 degrees F and 25mph winds that is the problem. I also work outside and on the weekends I am done being outside.

A 15/43 combo...

RE: .28 in a funfactor? oh dear....

I hear you about the cash shortage, the holiday's took a big chunk out of my account also.

A center diff would definetly help with the drivability. Running it as a single speed with a 15-17...

RE: .28 in a funfactor? oh dear....

The only reason that I suggested using a 1/8 scale center diff setup is because they are readily available and affordable on ebay and they are already setup for the proportional brakes.

You...

I'm not sure about the LX shafts but the MBX shafts are the same length. I only looked at buggy's with the pillow ball front suspension.
The front shafts on pretty much all of the buggy's with...

RE: .28 in a funfactor? oh dear....

To bad you didn't have a vid of that, not only to see it but to hear your comments as well.

With the colder, denser air nitro engines will need more fuel to run correctly.

You can get some...

RE: .28 in a funfactor? oh dear....

Thanks for the complement.
The only problem that I have had so far is the diff cup coming out of the diff a little bit due to how the axles are adjusted. A little bit of fuel tubing solved that...

RE: .28 in a funfactor? oh dear....

It is in this thread.
If you search this thread for the word "cvj" it should come up with the majority of it.

M odd er, I bought all of the parts for the swap at NW Nitro RC in Puyallup...

RE: .28 in a funfactor? oh dear....

I was totally blown away by the handling of the 1/8 scale buggy wheels myself. On a high traction surface the differance is even more noticable and with the right suspension setup it will fly around...

RE: .28 in a funfactor? oh dear....

Poor Judgement, what was the problem with the CT4 mounts? Are you doing this just to have the front to back adjustability?

Scouser, I found an article that has Team GS SUT CE in it and they...

RE: .28 in a funfactor? oh dear....

I really don't think the sliding clutch...

RE: .28 in a funfactor? oh dear....

I would have to say the CEN is my all out favorite. They are all different and suit different purposes. But if I had to...

RE: .28 in a funfactor? oh dear....

The LX would be a good platform for a build. The handling of a buggy will blow you away. There really is no drifts or slides you have to drive these things. The top speed may not be as high but the...

RE: .28 in a funfactor? oh dear....

RE: .28 in a funfactor? oh dear....

I thought CEN was going to offer the Matrix as a truggy also. I am not exactly sure where I read that but it was a post by them.

Scouser, the prices for GS products must be cheaper over their. I...
