RE: Airtronics / Sanwa MX3 FM 3 CH Radio Swap Program

If it is anything like last time, you pay to ship the old radio to them and they ship the new radio to you for free.

RE: Airtronics / Sanwa MX3 FM 3 CH Radio Swap Program

I know I am not a rocket scientist but I do know how to click on a link if it is there and the link for the radio swap program isn't and hasn't been there for a couple of weeks.
Here is the link...

RE: Airtronics / Sanwa MX3 FM 3 CH Radio Swap Program

Thanks for the part number on the 11t pinions. What we really need are steel pinions, those of us that run .18 and in poor judgements case larger engines find that the aluminum ones wear out to fast....

RE: Airtronics / Sanwa MX3 FM 3 CH Radio Swap Program

Bye Bye.

On a side note about CEN. The company has made a 180 degree turn from where they were on year ago. Their previous sale reps really didn't do them any favors and because of this alot of...

RE: Airtronics / Sanwa MX3 FM 3 CH Radio Swap Program

I know that was probably the point of your first post. But you can't necessarily blame CEN because Airtronics made the Rx. If you were to go out and buy an MX3 it would have the Z Rx and you would...

RE: Airtronics / Sanwa MX3 FM 3 CH Radio Swap Program

Yes the plugins are a little tight. You have to take your time to make them fit and don't force them. The reason that they are to tight is beyond me, maybe Airtronics designed them that way, if so I...

RE: Airtronics / Sanwa MX3 FM 3 CH Radio Swap Program

No mine is a Z reciever also. The CEN servo plug was a little tight but went in fine and the Hitec servo was just fine. A little tight is better than to loose. The only problem that I had was with...

RE: Airtronics / Sanwa MX3 FM 3 CH Radio Swap Program

That's great news for them.
Now if you could do something about their Irvine problem there would be dancing in the streets.

RE: Airtronics / Sanwa MX3 FM 3 CH Radio Swap Program

Once apon a time there were 2 TX manufacturers, Airtronics and Futaba. Each one had an idea on how a servo should connect to the RX but the only one that told any of the servo manufacturers and...

RE: Airtronics / Sanwa MX3 FM 3 CH Radio Swap Program

Mine installed just fine without any problems. I plugged in some of my Airtronics, Hitec, XTM, CEN, and Traxxas servos just to check and had no problems with the connectors.
If you had gone out and...

RE: Airtronics / Sanwa MX3 FM 3 CH Radio Swap Program

Received mine today thanks. This is a worthwhile upgrade and doesn't cost much more than a high torque servo.

This should be a sticky as well as the motor swap post.
