Vicman - you don't really need a "Y" harness, you need to wire the two packs in series. How did you connect them, and what voltage are you getting?

Dave - are you sure? I know guys that hand start Nelson Q500 engines. Surely a Kavan will at least do that, I would think. Personally I use a Sullivan (the yellow one) with 14.4 V 1500 mah nicd...
