RE: Nitromodels PREDATOR RQ-1B

Whirl,

It's not so much physical size of the motor that matters, it's the wattage which you are aware of. Also,
the plane is so light in it's construction, all balsa, that I did need some extra...

RE: Nitromodels PREDATOR RQ-1B

Concerning the nose gear placement, I just mounted it as the directions indicated and never made it
stearable as I found that I did not need it to be. Our flying fields are grass and the Predator...

RE: Nitromodels PREDATOR RQ-1B

I just took a look at my Predator and all I did was to place the rear cowl and then to attach it to the fuselage with
4 small screws. I think that you can see one of the attachment screws in theses...

RE: AEROXCRAFT Quad-670

Good point and I was planning on adding a GoPro lens cover, myself. Just offhand, since the GoPro camera gimbal comes
unassembled, I think that AeroXcraft decided to keep the cost reasonable and...

RE: Nitromodels PREDATOR RQ-1B

Teddy,

I just looked at the Nitro site and the three Predators do have me confused, too! I tend to agree with you that the difference
between the first two is just color, desert camo vs. green...

RE: DeNight Special 50 ARF by Hangar 9

Velezivan,

I have used the Power 46 with my Toledo and the DeNight without any issues at all. For me, the speed of both planes is
more than adequate. I have never put the radar gun on the...

RE: DeNight Special 50 ARF by Hangar 9

Moose,

With the Power 46 and the 60a ESC, we experienced no problem with sufficient power. If you think that you need or
want some additional power, give it a go, but I really can't see any need...

RE: Nitromodels PREDATOR RQ-1B

Jesse,

Your proposed setup looks good to me as long as you expect your Predator to end up with a flying
weight around 40oz..

RE: TOLEDO SPECIAL 40 ARF by Hangar 9
