I Concur.

thats the reason I suggested a larger hull as it will be more stable at those speeds and less likely to end in tears

i think that would be a much better choice, I have owned a similar hull when I was running nitro, where you plan to run is it rough or calm ?

80mph is still a high target, whats the fastest...

IMO a 33 inch mono is going to be very hard to keep on the water at 80mph...

Id be looking at a larger hull TBH - something more like a Seaducer, note that video is a 45 inch boat.
