RE: ParkZone Slo-V Review

Planes with brushless motors do not have to go fast. I was wanting to convert to brushless since they are more efficient and cost about the same as a brushed replacement motor. Much longer flight...

RE: ParkZone Slo-V Review

Thanks,

I have a couple of BP-21 motors too so I should be able to find a combo I like. I was hoping to stay with a motor that would allow very slow flight with lots of thrust.

Cheers,

RE: ParkZone Slo-V Review

Glacier Girl,

I am about to put a BL motor on my Slo-V for the first time I have several older BM2410-12 Tower Pro motors with a solid triangle following the numbering. Can you tell me if this...

RE: ParkZone Slo-V Review

jameser9,

Your motor may be ready to fry. They do not last long especially if you are running the 7-cell battery or a larger prop or both.

How about a brushless conversion?

RE: ParkZone Slo-V Review

Fully agree with Glacier on starting out on low rates. I also commend you on making sure their first flights are with no wind. Even a 5 mph wind will wear a new pilot out trying to correct for it and...

RE: ParkZone Slo-V Review

I flew my Slow-V thru 4 batteries at less than 20 degrees F. Had it out at just over 10 degrees and it flew fine each time. Sounds like maybe your binding somewhere in the system. Might want to...

My son and I have been flying our Slow-V from the grass in the local park. It is cut short and is fairly sparse. The plane takes off in 10 or 20 feet so it does not take much room to...

RE: ParkZone Slo-V Review

One of the reasons I purchased a Slow-V was that it is billed as an indoor flyer. Is anyone out there flying their plane indoors. If so, how does it do? With winter fast approaching in Alaska I am...

RE: ParkZone Slo-V Review

The motor is dead. I had the same thing happen to me and one of the brushes (contacts) was broken. There have been a couple of posts recently regarding short motor life and whether running the motor...

What did you have to do to get the brushless working on your Slow-V. Did you just hook it up to the stock RX and Speed Controller or did you have to replace all the Electronics.

RE: ParkZone Slo-V Review

I recently purchased a Slow-V for my son and I to try out. Neither one of us has flown an RC plane before. A couple of crashes mainly bent prop shafts but learning fast. Pulled a tripple loop with 7...
