I was thinking the same thing about a longer revo 3.3 chassis slayer w/ an SC8 body, but when comparing things it looked like a longer 3.3 chassis slayer would still be an inch shorter wheelbase then...

They are Awesome looking bodies and the expensive ones are prepainted and stickered i think. Ive seen a few unfinished ones for under $40 about same as monster trucks

It might look cool....Or maybe just weird.... Never now till you try. Hey do you know what is the stock wheel hexes on the Slayer? I like the realistic look, but have 17mm hexes on my truck.

Isnt the 2.5 revo shorter then the 3.3? I think the slayer is the the same wheelbase as the 2.5, its not as long as the 3.3 i think. But Yes i think short arms, shafts, turnbuckles, would be needed...

My 2 cents- same as above- in my experience a cheaper RTRs can turn into a bit of a money pit- lots of things need upgraded. Can add unplanned expense and be frustrating. Iwould go for higher end...

Thanks for the tip- It would be nice to have a little more travel/ clearence for a truck..I was just looking at KRO's CORR truck post-Hes got a cool truck that was simple to convert.

Yea- thats a hefty price indeed. Not that the SC8 is not worth it, just more then I can spend. I love the 1/8th buggy/ truggy platform of the SC8. But to convert my Muggy Id need to find buggy arms...
