The difference is the 4-bolt cases only accept 4-bolt cylinder heads - like the PU and PUH heads. They do tend to blow gaskets less often, it's true.

It's not even close. No piston port engine, even a 30.5cc one, even a well ported one, can touch these fully built case reed monsters. Reeds in general give a huge advantage.

There are two versions of the cases - one for 2-bolt heads (G230RC / G260RC), and one for 4-bolt heads (G231PUH / G260PUH / G260PU):

Indeed, the engine doug posted above is THE best RC style option out there - if your vehicle can accomodate the slight dimensional differences from the case reed intake. Revs to the moon, and power...
