That really sucks David. I have a Mayhem ST also, but have not had all the problems you describe. You are definately right about having to loctite the metal to metal screws. I had to do this to mine...

I'm not saying that the Aarms aren't junk but, I would be willing to bet you cracked them on a bad jump landing and then the plastic pipe was the last straw that ripped them off.
