I have purchased 7 Mobius cameras over the past year or two on eBay. All our cars have one in them and I have given some away as gifts. The most recent one I purchased 6 months ago from Amazon. The...

RE: Key chain car alarm size heli cam

Very cool! The one earlier in the thread for $149 was for 640x480 at 25fps. The ones for sale now are 720x480 at 30FPS and are going for under $10 with free shipping. Don't know how the Chinese make...

RE: 3D-Foamy F18 EDF Mini Fan 480 Project

I put in a gyro to control the ailerons so I don't have to worry so much about trying to keep it level on the hand launches in case a wing starts to dip. Curious myself how well that will work. Last...

RE: 3D-Foamy F18 EDF Mini Fan 480 Project

Looks like the links are messed up on their site. I checked my computer and could not find the plans. Give them a call or email at 3dFoamy to see if they can help you out.

I need to get mine in...

RE: How does everyone like the RealFlight G4.5?

Typically there is not a problem if only ONEperson uses the software. I would think that without the original CD's he could not still use it or install it again if it is still installed on another...

RE: How does everyone like the RealFlight G4.5?

Interesting. The CD's look legit and they work fine. It was G4 and I updated it a day or two ago from the RealFlight website to 4.5 without a problem. He did give me an extra unlabeled CDto be able...

RE: How does everyone like the RealFlight G4.5?

Lots of good info opjose - thanks!

Although Iam almost 99% sure that in ClearView the photo fields support bouncing around 3d rendered objects. There was only 1 or 2 fields with that in it. Been...

RE: How does everyone like the RealFlight G4.5?

I noticed that in the photo fields in G4 that not everything is static. For example the wind sock moves to the speed of the wind, and you can collide with objects, etc. Then again in the cheap...

RE: How does everyone like the RealFlight G4.5?

I was tech support central for my kids, wife, and immediate family when they had PCs. Things like email / Outlook randomly stop working, lost Internet connectivity, random crashes, mal-ware, driver...

RE: How does everyone like the RealFlight G4.5?

This can get into a no win PC vs Mac off topic discussion in no time. LOL. Ihave used PCs for over 30 years and 2 years ago went Mac. Best thing I ever did. I can still run Windows on my iMac (better...

RE: How does everyone like the RealFlight G4.5?

What is the main difference between 4.0 and 4.5?

BTW, I run RealFlight 4.0 on a 2 year old Apple iMac 24" computer using Windows XP with Bootcamp. I get 65 to 120 FPS with all settings at high or...

RE: Shoot down airplane or not for noise???

The natives have been unusually quiet. I asked how things have been going. I was told that for months nobody has flown in the park. My guess is that he got caught and paid a $500 flying fee for the...

Cross wind landings - You Tube Video

I feel much better now about many of my sloppy RC landings after watching this video of real jets landing in cross winds!

RE: Maiden 3D-Foamy F18 - Dumb Crash.

I added rudder control to the bird. Now I have aileron, flaps, elevator and rudder control. Not that I need that but I thought it might be fun to play around with the extra controls. Now it is up to...

RE: Maiden 3D-Foamy F18 - Dumb Crash.

I am up to 21oz flying weight on mine after my misc repairs. That is with a 1500MAh 3S 30C pack. Right now I have a 6x5 prop but I think it may be a slow flyer prop as it is not very stiff. I will...

RE: Shoot down airplane or not for noise???

They have his plate and know his address but the police said they need to catch him while he is in the air. It is in Huntington Beach, California.

RE: Maiden 3D-Foamy F18 - Dumb Crash.

Got a few flights in today until I had a mishap on landing. It was a bit windy and the field I was landing at was dirt with small rocks. So I was making very slow stall landings to avoid grinding the...

RE: Maiden 3D-Foamy F18 - Dumb Crash.

Are you still grinding down your F18's Vicman from all the landings? I just threw out my cheapy brushless motor on the Vicman F18. The shaft was a bit bent and I think I overheated it on the last...

RE: Aligns MD 500E

There is just a hole on the other side of the boom that blows out air. They are 30% quieter than the version with the tail rotor. Pretty cool.

RE: Aligns MD 500E

Ouch! Glad to hear the body survived. I have not had many crashes with my T-Rex. I had a bad one where I thought it was toast and my stock fiberglass body survived. I had a small crash that trashed...
