RE: Seaplane pictures

I would love to have something like the yellow, blue and red one. Ladislav, may I ask a question? Did the Northstar set you up for life? If that is too personal I understand. I have one myself...

RE: Seaplane pictures

My Elder Bipe was absolutely horrible at the field. So I hung it for 2 years and then had the bright idea to install floats. It went from a lazy field flyer to an aesthically pleasing float plane...

RE: Seaplane pictures

Same thing happened to another guy at our Fun Fly meet. He drained it and did it right the second time. It was a maiden flight, and that can happen easily with 20 guys watching.

Enjoy:

RE: Seaplane pictures

Nice plane. The dock and the picnic table bother me. That borders on playing with dolls. That's a slippery slope. Just kidding, what a great looking scene. Should be the cover of a mag.

RE: Seaplane pictures

I can remember when my 2 year old daughter would put on my shoes and try to walk around the house. Those floats reminded me of that day. Do they make floats for real helis? Is there a need since...

RE: Seaplane pictures

My friend Doug built me a Sea Cruiser using plans. He then sold it to me and I covered it with a Spiderman theme. SeaCruisers are so easy to fly.

RE: Seaplane pictures

Mr. Moorman,
Thank you for your column. I learned to flatspin just by reading what you wrote. I had been flying a profile for years and couldn't do much. Someone gave me back issues of RCReport...

RE: Seaplane pictures

Do you plan to fly this plane off of the water? Can it fly off water? I do not see any wing floats for balance. You can tell you put a lot of work into that plane. Very nice.

RE: Seaplane pictures

That is awesome. Are you going to try water? I don't fly pushers, but this is pretty close. Did you try to find my video on YouTube? Just put in NorthStar Landing.

RE: Seaplane pictures

RE: Seaplane pictures

I bought this off a guy in another thread. Just finished it over Christmas break. The gentleman did a great job of glassing the fuse. All I have left is installing the off/on switch. I have flown...

RE: Seaplane pictures

After reviewing my son's video, I found that he only recorded one low pass. I'll try again soon and take you up on your offer. Thanks. My plane balances out at the CG point on the plans but I have...
