RE: Would this interest anyone?

I try to limit myself to hydros and building materials, so when it comes to plastic deep vees, I don't have the knowledge to help you out on that one. I got your PM, so, it was nice to learn you...

RE: Would this interest anyone?

That was the plan, but I figured other builders could post pics of their building jigs as well. Since not everyone does it the same, why not show a little of everything?;)

RE: Would this interest anyone?

Ain't happenning that fast John. Roger was telling me he figures he won't be able to start printing for a week or two as he will be busy getting the big boat ready for San Diego, which rumor now has...

RE: Would this interest anyone?

Very true, Ron. The problem with the "Bloody Bud" is that it has four different panels on the sides and bottom of the sponsons, not to mention that frame 10R is drawn wrong and the sponsons are two...

RE: Would this interest anyone?

The Tri-Cities Atomic Cup was last weekend, with the Elam Plus winning the final. There was some drama as well.
In Heat 2, the Elam did a 1.25 revolution flip, landing on it's transom. Total...

RE: Would this interest anyone?

That's because it isn't. I haven't had the chance to work on it due to remodelling all three bedrooms at once. The result is that I can't even get into my garage, hence my current project: a 16X12...

RE: Would this interest anyone?

Normally, I would say nothing's wrong. In this case, however, the plans were drawn using a T-square and triangles, so the parts won't be a perfect match like they would if done in Autocad. I...

RE: Would this interest anyone?

Actually it's 108-GG, but don't get the same just to get the same as me. There are at least 30 different boats based on plan 108, only the color sheets are different. Scroll through and see which...

Actually Ron, only the Madison and Town Club were damaged, and yes, I can tell which are the R/Cs.

Something that most don't know about the movie is that the Gold Cup winning Miss Madison hull...

RE: Would this interest anyone?

I have known Don Mock for years, and while his video is very informative, some of his proceedures can be above the level of a beginner. He, in fact, just completed a fully composite Turbine Atlas...

RE: Would this interest anyone?

I use band and jig saws primarily, with some of the inside cuts using Dremels and a drill with a circle cutter or hole saw. I have also found belt sanders to be worth their weight in gold in...
