As long as you put female plugs on the batteries I don't see much chance of them shorting out, but I guess better safe than sorry. If it gives you piece of mind, then carry on.

Do you have the correct mesh? I use the paper method to set it right. Also, check the rest of the drivetrain to make sure nothing is binding.

Most likely no. You cannot mix brands of Receivers and Transmitters. That is the only thing I don't like about 2.4 systems. Look on the bright side. It is a lot less than Futaba guys (me) have to pay...

It's a 1/10th scale Mximum ST PRO. The pro's had the .16 while the other's only had a .12 Later they were all equipped with the .16. Also the Pro version came with the 2-speed and Aluminum upgrades....

Breaking things is a part of the hobby. You break it and fix it. Not a big deal really. If your getting a rustler get the vxl if you are getting the firestorm then look at the flux.
