I positioned the rudder servo's as per the plans but used one micro servo for each side of the elevator. My first bronco was way heavy because I glassed and painted the whole thing. Almost 24 lbs...

I used 20 lb test Fireline fishing line. It has no stretch at all and the tube is actually some outer nyrod tubing.

I use about 30 degree flaps for take off and landing. I can't believe how gently the Bronco at almost 24lbs lands. You're right about it jerking off the ground. That's how mine used to take off...
