I had a OS 160FX in mine and it had enough power here at 5000 ft. You should have no problems in NJ and if you need more power, you could put 30% Heli fuel in it.

The only reason why I bought a CF wing tube for my 120 Edge was because I warped the original doing knife edge spins...[sm=biggrin.gif]

Hey Tom, how about another 120 size plane? You could look into scaling down your 35% Extra or even do a Sukhoi.

It happens, but think of it this way, it has the flexibility that your 28% planes have. Sure they're designed around a 2 stroke engine and mine flew great with the OS 160. I wish I still had it...

I use a MenzS 18x6. Desert Aircraft sells them. You could also use a Mejzlik 18x8, but they're a little pricey.

If you got it, use it. Should produce enough power. Might want to look into mounting the rudder servo in the tail with the engine weight is the only thing.

There's a guy doing a thread about putting a gas engine in this plane and he's using a BME 44. If I had one, that's what I would do. I'm even thinking about getting another one to put a BME 50 in.

Yeah, I got some more flights on mine. I tried keeping throttle in it to land after I moved the CG back. But now, I just set it on idle and floats in.

I had fuel problems today to. But I got them worked out and the 9th flight on the airframe was uneventful. I had to change my plumbing scheme, but it's no big deal.

I just joined Love Air and i've been out there a few times. Just playing some FCAHA Adult Rec League hockey wise. I'm the goalie for sound advice.

I have one of the prototypes, I don't think it would fit. Although I could mount it to the basswood I just installed. Let me fly it like this first.
