I fly at BARKS. Jets are welcome most of the time. By that I mean in the deep heat of summer with dry cheat grass extra care is needed. Normal ops are fine but if one has a mishap it's on like...

RE: Has anyone tried the new PTE36R ?

When I had a problem with my ignition a year ago it behaved similar to yours. I checked it and had spark when the engine wasn't running. As soon as I put it together and tried to start it all I got...

RE: JetJoe OWNERS thread

I have been running a FW pump on my JJ1400. A few months ago I suspected the pump had issues and contacted FW. I sent it in and they replaced it via warranty. The pump I sent in was an older model...

RE: Has anyone tried the new PTE36R ?

Yes it was a straight bolt on with no mods at all. I held the 2 mufflers together and things looked like a near perfect match to me. Your pic is exactly what happened to 2 mufflers I had. The...

RE: Has anyone tried the new PTE36R ?

Got the DLE muffler mounted today. A few things I like about it are that the tubes are short with Teflon extensions. In my opinion they will be better as the Teflon will absorb the vibrations running...

RE: Has anyone tried the new PTE36R ?

I figured it was worth 25 bucks to see if it would be better. I know there are some nice steel ones out there but I'm not willing to pat with 65 bucks for one.

RE: Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet

I have a couple sets of these struts. I wouldnt use them on this plane as a turbine setup. IMO its too much weight for them. They are fine for Id say 12-13 pounds or less.

RE: JetJoe OWNERS thread

It seems to have clearance from the NVG but the issue becomes that there are not enough threads on the shalf to tighten it down. I think it might be ok to shim it with a spacer on either side, just...
